University of Alberta Hospital Family Medicine & Seniors Centre (UAH FMSC)

Edmonton, Alberta

The U of A Hospital Family Medicine & Seniors Clinic was especially developed in 2002 as a mixed academic/community-based practice. A multi-disciplinary team including physicians, nurses, a dietician, physiotherapists and a social worker are involved in caring for more than 30,000 diverse patients who visit the clinic each year.

The clinic is located in the Edmonton Clinic that opened in 2012. There are weekly Family Medicine rounds attended by the residents.
